Our Mission

IntelaMetrix, Inc. is a technology company founded in 2004 to design, develop and market cutting-edge assessment tools for the health, fitness and wellness industries. It is our mission to provide products that promote healthier lifestyles for everyone.

It is our belief that technology and innovation in measuring and monitoring health not only allows for timely intervention, but will motivate and sustain a long term commitment to physical activity, proper nutrition and healthier lifestyles. Our flagship product, the BodyMetrix System was developed with those principles in mind. The BodyMetrix System combines a truly innovative hand-held ultrasound wand with user friendly software to fully assess clients and patients and track their progress over time.

IntelaMetrix is dedicated to the research, development and manufacturing of wellness products. We continue to work on other exciting innovations utilizing technology for the health, fitness, and wellness industries.

Who We Are

Luiz Da Silva, Ph.D. - President & CEO

Dr. Da Silva is a founder of IntelaMetrix. He has a Ph.D. in physics from the University of British Columbia and more than 20 years of experience in medical device research and development. Dr. Da Silva is internationally recognized for his research; he is an expert in ultrasound, optics, lasers and their applications to medical devices and diagnostics. He has worked in industry, university and national laboratory settings, and worked as a consultant to medical companies including Johnson & Johnson, Guidant, and Boston Scientific. He is a fellow of the American Physical Society and the Optical Society of America. He has over 200 publications and 50 patents, and his research has earned him awards from the American Physical Society, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), R&D 100 and the Department of Energy.

Heidi Stark - CFO and Board Member

Heidi has been with IntelaMetrix since it was founded in September 2004. She has extensive management experience working with start-up companies in the medical device and consumer product industries including ImagiNail, DermaHealth Systems, and Therative, Inc. Heidi is the CFO for IntelaMetrix and also manages the day-to-day operations of the company including inventory control, sales, and marketing.

Daniel Watts - Account Manager

Daniel has been with IntelaMetrix since 2010. He has extensive experience managing production teams with companies in the aerospace industry, including Alcoa and Kaiser Aluminum. Daniel brings a diverse skillset to the table, which includes domestic sales, customer training, market research, and account management.

Pattie Luna

Pattie joined IntelaMetrix in 2011 and leads customer support. Before joining IntelaMetrix Pattie worked for a law firm specializing in Intellectual Property then worked with Pulte Homes as a cost accountant. Pattie brings a variety of skills, which includes account and office management, customer service, and inventory control.

Laura Harward

Laura has been with IntelaMetrix from the beginning and manages our quality assurance as well as shipping. Before joining IntelaMetrix Laura worked for several medical device companies.
